Love.Angel.Music.Baby-Gwen Stefani.
The magazine advert features the image that is used on the front cover of the album but more close-up, the text on the advert is also the same as the writing used on the album. The image appears to be in a slight cartoon/pop art style as it is not a totally clear image, it looks almost painted. The name of the artist, Gwen Stefani is the most prominent piece of text that is located just underneath the image that takes up the rest of the page above it. The name of the album 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby.' is located underneath the name of the artist and is in the same font and colour but is slightly lower in text size. Underneath this there are the name of the songs that are included on the album, with the word 'Includes' above the list (also in the same font and colour.) There is then some other information regarding the album in the same colour of the rest of the text but not the same font. Around the edge of the advertisement there is a gold line that connects a golden corner decoration on two of the corners.
Who You Are-Jessie J.
The top of the magazine advertisement features the artwork for the 'Who You Are' album, that takes up just over half of the advert. Below the album front cover there is a black background that is behind text that relates to the album it's advertising. All text in this part of the advert are written in a simply and slim style of font. 'DEBUT ALBUM', 'INCLUDES THE #1 INTERNATIONAL SMASH' and 'JESSIEJOFFICIAL' are all written in a cream/yellow text that almost matches the colour of the text on the album cover that colours 'JESSIE J'. As well as this 'WHO YOU ARE', 'PRICE TAG FEAT. B.O.B' and 'WWW/.COM' are all written in white writing which matches that white background that Jessie J is stood in front of in the album's artwork and the 'WHO YOU ARE' text on the album's front cover. At the bottom of the advert there are also logos that are relevant to the album (perhaps the record label or marketing team etc.)
Loud-Rihanna.
The advertisement is simple but effective. The album's artwork is featured on the left side of the advert, where the most prominent colour is red, this matches the colours on the advert. There is a border on the top and the bottom of the advert that is a red gradient that also matches Rihanna's hair as well as the dress that she is wearing in the field in the image. Mounted on the border is thin, white text that is similar to the text on the album, this reads 'RIHANNA' and 'OUT NOVEMBER 16TH.' these are the largest pieces of text on the page that makes these the most prominent and outstanding to the eyes of the reader reading the magazine. Also on the advert is 'new album' written in lower case, and 'LOUD' written in uppercase next to it. This is also in the same font and colour as the rest of the writing on the advert.
Lungs-Florence And The Machine.
The artist's name is written at the top of the advert in a bold and fancy style font. It looks almost like handwriting, this argument is supported by the use of '+' used in this piece of writing as opposed to the word 'and'. Underneath this the album's front cover is printed which takes up much of the rest of the advert. At the bottom of the page the album title 'LUNGS' is written in white, uppercase and italics, this title is surrounded by a line drawn both above and below this text. Underneath the bottom line the date of release is printed in a similar font to the title of the album written above it. There is then some of the songs featured on the album listed, information about the type of album and the artist's website that are featured at the bottom of the page. The advert is surrounded by a border that is simply a white line that goes along the rim of the page.
The Family Jewels-Marina & The Diamonds.
Covering the whole page is the albums's main image of Marina (the artist) laid down on a flowery carpet with her head and neck shown whilst she glances at the camera. The name of the album and artist is written in a white, handwriting style at the top of the advert just above her face in the image. Below her face in the image the artwork for her newest single at that time is located on the left side of the page. With the text 'FEATURING THE SINGLES HOLLYWOOD, I AM NOT A ROBOT, OH NO! AND THE NEW SINGLE SHAMPAIN OUT NOW ON ITUNES.' written to the right of it. All text expect from 'Shampain' (which is written in pink and the same font as writing on the single's front cover.) is in a white and slim font.
Hold Me Down-You Me At Six.
A colourful collage of feathers, clouds, leafs and flower take up the centre of the advert. In front of this collage what appears to be a ripped piece of paper with the text 'YOU ME AT SIX' and 'Hold Me Down' (the album and artist's name) on it is taped down by sticky-tape. Underneath both this at the collage behind it there is the text 'THE NEW ALBUM OUT 11TH JAN CD/DOWNLOAD' written in both white and yellow colours. The text 'OUT 11TH JAN' is written in a very narrow and tall font and is significantly larger that the other text on the page. Underneath all of this text, the 'Available at' is written just above the logo for 'PLAY.COM', which advertises how the public can purchase the album. On the bottom left of the advert the group's website URL is written which is where fans can seek more information about the album and the group.
