Inital Ideas for my Music Videos

Concept One.

The song begins with the two artists in a dark corridor (perhaps outside a night club) singing the opening verse. Interweaving shots show the singers entering the night club and greeting friends on the dance floor. During the chorus there are various fast shots showing a large amount of people jumping up and down and dancing in a manic fashion, this all occurs whilst shots in between this show the singers back in the corridor singing the lyrics being heard by the viewer. During the second verse, the people shown in the nightclub are running manically through the streets during the night holding sparklers, balloons and running around in a manic way-ideally there would also be smoke machines being used, however this is an unlikely addition to the video. After this, during the final chorus, there are interweaving shots of the party-goers dancing in both the club and the streets as well as shots of the singers singing in the corridor.

Concept Two.

The song begins with two shots that interweave. Both of them show both singers getting out of bed in which their boyfriends are laid and packing a suitcase and leaving the house then driving away, this all occurs whilst the singers are singing the lyrics being heard. They both then arrive at a night club, and greet their friends. During the chorus there are various shots with many people jumping up around and dancing whilst the singers are in the front of all the action singing the lyrics. During the next verse both of the singer’s boyfriends turn up at the club and the singers are seen shouting at their ex-partners and walking away from them whilst their ex-boyfriends watch them walk away. They then return to the club and continue to dance around during the chorus, also showing the singer’s singing the lyrics from an elsewhere location and the ex-boyfriends walking away.

Concept Three.

The opening scenes are interweaving. They show both the singers having an argument with their boyfriend’s from separate locations. There are then many interweaving scenes that switch on the beat in the music. These shots include:

-The singer running through long fields .

-Contemporary dance shots.

-Drinking alcohol.

-Rolling around in grass (perhaps under the influence)

-Buring a picture of their ex-partners.

-Close up shots of the singers singing the lyrics in the song. -

During all choruses in the songs, the singers and their friends are in a club dancing around manically-not caring about the outside world.
